One's visual dreams are realised at the newly opened Baker D Chirico, which combines effortless style with the humble breakfast staple. The charming establishment sits quietly on Faraday St, with rows of freshly baked loafs perched on its polished wooden shelves... And while it might be new in the neighbourhood, it has quickly gained quite the following.
From what I've heard, the same wooden shelves are empty by mid-afternoon; with queues for its famous hot cross buns stretching towards the roadside. Nothing quite like a queue to pique my interest :-)
Here, a wide variety of buttery pastries and bread are placed on display, and stepping into their tiny shopfront
makes me feel like a grown up version of a kid in a candy store.
I'm already planning to pop in again over the weekend to get my hands on some pastries!
