Met up with Eve for a final brunch date before she heads back to Indonesia :-)
We settled on Mr Tulk, which is conveniently located near the State Library of Victoria. It's a beautiful and cosy space, with lots of natural light streaming in; and I loved that the tables were spaced comfortably, not too close to each other.

The food was mostly mediocre, and isn't worth writing home about. We spent the afternoon shopping around the city and buying Christmas gifts for our loved ones. How cute is this sun hat that we found in Sportsgirl?!
We took a break afterwards and sat down at Ganache Chocolate for some hot beverages!

Eve has been raving about the hot chocolate at Ganache for awhile now, and I needed to see for myself what all the fuss was about. True to her words, the hot chocolate didn't disappoint - it was like molten chocolate!
It was so rich and deliciously decadent...I wouldn't even call it a drink, really, because the consistency was so much thicker than any other hot chocolate I've had. Whoa. THIS.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the hot chocolate that will end all other hot chocolates. I had the hazelnut hot chocolate, while Eve had the orange hot chocolate. Both were smooth and rich, and came with macadamia and hazelnut meringue biscuits, which were light and crispy.
We caught up with each other and made plans for the summer together, and I'm going to miss this girl so much when she leaves :') I remember the night we first met, and how I knew instantly that we would be good friends.
Words cannot express how thankful I am that I've met someone like her in Melbourne.
I'm going to end this post with one of my favourite pictures of us, one that I never really got around to uploading.
See you in SG, babe! x
